How can children lack the company of children's science experiments during the Christmas holidays? The Magic Egg Drop Science Experiment Challenge is one of the children's favorite STEM activities. Children need to create a magical device to protect their eggs. And that's what your imagination can use. Alpha Science Classroom team takes on this STEM challenge to unlock the hidden physics science experiment principles behind it with children together. The Egg Drop Challenge is so cool, what are you waiting for!

Plastic sheets
Alpha science classroom:Steps of Egg Drop Challenge Science Experiment
1.Children need equipment to assemble the eggs to protect them from being broken when they fall from high altitude.
2.Children Use plastic paper to wrap an egg, the egg must be wrapped safely, so as to avoid falling during the experiment.
3.Children Make a triangle using paper straws, then tied with a rubber band between the paper straws to allow the egg drop device to fully contain the egg. This will make the egg drop challenge even better.
4.Children Check your equipment carefully, bring your egg equipment outside, and lower it from a balcony or other height of at least a few yards.
5.Find out if your egg has cracked or landed safely, find more materials, use your imagination to make more egg drop devices, and embark on this amazing STEM challenge!
Alpha science classroom:Science Behind of Egg Drop Science Experiment
Gravity is a force of attraction — it pulls on a mass, which is how much “stuff” something is made of. Earth’s gravity pulls on you and keeps you on the ground;
The Egg hitting the ground is a collision between the Earth and the Egg. When collisions occur, two properties of the colliding bodies are changed and/or transferred: their Energy and Momentum. This change and transfer are mediated by one or many forces. If the force is too strong, it can cause the shell of the egg to crack and break.
Today’s Egg Drop experiment in the Alpha science classroom has been finished, Do the children understand the physical science experiments? Children can also expand on more ways to make egg drops, or check out more STEM activities to fill your Christmas vacation.
