Transfer the liquid to a clean jar, leaving the crystals behind. Your solution may be light yellow.

Step 4

Children need to wait until the pot cools down, carefully scrape the white crystals off the wall, and put them in the bag. You only want to get dry crystals, not a solution.

Children put the hot ice solution bag in the refrigerator for 10 to 15 minutes. After the bag has cooled down, you can use the hand warmer.
